Work Zone Safety

This course presents fundamental information for employees on work zone safety. Upon completing the course, employees should:
– Recognize the hazards that exist when performing roadway construction and maintenance.
– Understand the government regulations that address work zone safety.
– Be able to identify the equipment and procedures that should be used to control traffic around a work zone.
– Know what they can do to help keep themselves and their coworkers safe when they are doing road work
