Safety Data Sheets in HAZWOPER Environments

This course presents detailed information on Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), their organization, what data they contain, and how to use them to work safely in HAZWOPER environments. Upon completing this course, employees should:
– Be able to explain the role played by SDSs in HAZWOPER environments.
– Know where in an SDS to find specific information about a hazardous material.
– Understand how to use SDS information to safely handle and store hazardous materials.
– Know how to use SDS information to prevent and control hazardous materials accidents.
