Orientation to Laboratory Safety

This course discusses the safety procedures and personal protective equipment that should be used when working in a laboratory. Upon completing this course employees should:
– Understand the safety procedures that should be followed when working in a laboratory.
– Be aware of the personal protective equipment that should be worn when working in a laboratory.
– Understand how hazardous materials should be labeled and stored.
– Know the proper procedures for cleaning up and disposing of chemical spills.
