Laboratory Hoods

This course discusses how laboratory hoods protect against hazards and contaminants, as well as how to work safely within a laboratory hood and what to do in case of a lab-related emergency. Upon completing the course employees should:
– Recognize the various types of laboratory hoods they may encounter.
– Know how to properly test laboratory hoods.
– Understand how to use a laboratory hood safely.
