GHS Safety Data Sheets in the Laboratory

This course presents fundamental information on GHS Safety Data Sheets in the Laboratory. Upon completing the course, employees should:
– Know why OSHA is incorporating GHS Safety Data Sheets into the Hazard Communication Standard.
– Understand why GHS Safety Data Sheets are a valuable tool and why they are replacing Material Safety Data Sheets.
– Recognize the differences between GHS Safety Data Sheets and MSDS’s.
– Be able to describe what type of information is found in each section of a GHS Safety Data Sheet.
