Food Handling Safety

This course presents fundamental information for employees on food handling safety. Upon completing the course, employees should:
– Understand that foodborne illnesses are serious health problems that affect millions of people every year.
– Understand how food can get contaminated at various stages of its processing cycle.
– Be able to describe the safe work practices they should use to ensure that the food they work with won’t make someone else sick.
