Electrical Safety in the Laboratory

This course discusses how electricity is used throughout a laboratory and how to work with it safely. Upon completing this course, employees should:
– Understand how electricity works.
– Know the work practices they should use to work with electricity safely.
– Be aware of the hazards that electricity can present when working with flammable materials.
– Know what to do if an electrical emergency occurs.
