DOT “Reasonable Suspicion” Testing for Managers and Supervisors (Part I)

This course presents fundamental information for managers and supervisors regarding DOT “Reasonable Suspicion” drug and alcohol testing. Upon completing the course, employees should:
– Be able to describe the DOT/FMCSA drug and alcohol regulations.
– Know the types of situations in which motor carrier employees are required to undergo drug or alcohol testing.
– Understand the concept of “Reasonable Suspicion” testing and how drug and alcohol tests are conducted.
– Know how to recognize the signs that an employee may have a substance use disorder.
