Forklift Pedestrian Safety for Operators

This course presents fundamental information on what forklift operators can do to help keep pedestrians in their work areas safe. Upon completing the course, operators should:
– Understand why forklift accidents involving pedestrians occur.
– Know how they can prepare themselves and their forklift to drive safely around pedestrians.
– Know some basic safety precautions that they should take when driving in pedestrian areas.
– Understand what they can do to stay safe around forklifts when they are a pedestrian themselves.
